Kite Day

The 42nd annual Smithsonian Kite Festival today, a billion people, along wih a billon kites down at the national mall on a very clear crisp day,.. today marked the beggining of the annual National Cherry Blossom Festival here in D.C., and the kites are always a perfect visual spectacle to go along with the 2 week long events. This the 4th straight kite festival for me and every time there was at least a 15 mph wind from the west.
